It was the way she lit up as she gushed over him during our first meeting that had me looking forward to this weekend for just about a year. It was just the two of us and I asked her to tell me their story. “We became inseparable,” she said. The first night they met, they stayed up for hours talking… laughing… and realizing how amazing the other person simply was. This happened to be everyone’s story about these two on the wedding day. Kris’s dad talked about his first time meeting her, only 6 days after Kris and Grace had first met. It was clear that Kris knew she was someone he couldn’t live without. This inseparable, when you know you know kind of love must run in the Wilson family. Kris’s dad spoke about how he fell in love and knew on the second date with his wife that she was the one. Thirty years later, he still brings that smile and tear to her face as he gushes over her.
On a secluded island off of the North Carolina coast under the most gorgeous sun kissed tree, Kris and Grace vowed to always be best friends. Thank you for bringing me along to such an amazing place and letting me tell your story. Here’s to many more inseparable days!
