Welcoming Bentley Thomas

10 perfect fingers and 10 perfect toes… a soft baby cry and a perfect button nose. Baby Bentley has arrived, and appears to be quite open with the big world around him. I was once told that a baby will open his fingers up to the world once he is comfortable with his surroundings. As soon as my sister snuggles up close to him…. his fingers open up and he falls fast asleep. This little boy has many sweet faces as he sleeps. From smiles, to smirks, to an adorable pout… he makes you want to stay awake and soak him in. From the moment he was born and they laid him on my sister, tears overwhelmed me as I heard his first cry, saw his first pout lip, and rocked him to sleep. Welcome to my little nephew. Auntie Jamie loves you. To my sister and daddy- thank you for making me an aunt.

Bentley Thomas- Born 1/27/2013 7lbs 6oz 21 inches.

Welcome Miss Nora Jane

Miss Nora Jane was comfy, cozy and perfectly content. At just about 42 weeks… it was time to invite her to her birthday party. We will see if she always thinks things should run on her own time.:)

Sam seems to be making the transition into a big brother fairly well, and it appears that the sound of his voice (and the movement of his little feet jumping on the bed) make his little sister smile. What a great team they are already becoming.

EJ and friends: 9 Months

At nine months, EJ is a bit more mobile to be accessible to all his little friends. From Gator, to “Fugly”, to his big sister and four legged friend Maybelle… he’s the guy everyone in the house wants to be around:) 

Meet “Fugly”. He is the orange monster with the big eyes and the snugly teeth. His name is not officially Fugly… but that’s what mom calls him. He is one friend that I may continue to request at EJ’s photo sessions. He simply makes me laugh:)
