Zach, Anna, and Nate got a little impromtu spanish lesson from me during our shoot… the only set back… I haven’t studied since high school. And.. I’m not sure if going to Mexico once a year really counts. Regardless of my success in forming correct sentences, or even phrases…it was worth every second of Nate repeating back what I said. It. was. hysterical. As we moved past our “Yo tengo una hambugesa”… we decided (and by we I mean I) that there was a little dancing needed to spice things up. Since no one wanted to show off their best move first… I broke the ice. And yes, I danced…in the middle of the street. These guys have known me long enough to know that I am fully willing to make a fool out of myself to get them to do what I want. As soon as I did… Nate broke all the way out of his shell and showed me up. By the end of the shoot, they all showed me how to work it. Gotta love my Christiansen kids!

I look back over the past 6 yrs of you taking our pics and feel really blessed to have so many great keepsakes in your pictures. You are truly blessed w a gift from God! I love how Anna & Nate were both like…”um, there’s a guy looking at you across the street while you dance…” lol you were like, “so!”. You are the best! Thank you! Also, while I was showing Zach last night, he said…I really like these pictures, Jamie is really really good!
