A day on the lake is about the only place I want to be on a 95 degree day. I think this past week of blazing heat officially puts us into “the dog days of summer”. I hung out with this family lakeside as the kids played in the water, and the adults enjoyed a cold beer or two. I managed to stay cool by standing IN THE LAKE while I shot. If you know me.. you know I am not a fan of fish, sea weed, or any muck touching me in lakes. I am float on a raft type of girl.
As I stood in the water and photographed the whole family on the waters edge… I was getting nibbled on by little fish friends in the water. As I danced around, held my dress up, and attempted to get all the kids looking and smiling while standing bare foot in who knows what, and being nibbled on… I think I was probably entertaining to any onlookers. But… I give myself an A+… and treated myself to a mojito… poolside… with no signs of fish
