The Hanson Family and the wiggle wiggle Monarch dance

I could’ve hung out with these two ladies all morning long. Alanna and Avery chatted in their sweet girly voices about which princess they wanted to play and anxiously inquired about the butterflies we would try to find. As the sun kissed their cute little dresses, and they both went their separate ways to collect flowers… I managed to find a way to get them walking hand in hand. It did require me to make up a song and dance on the spot. I held Alanna’s hand and sang… “the wiggle, wiggle Monarch dance.. the wiggle, wiggle Monarch dance… the wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle Monarch dance!” As the girls held hands, I sang the song and they… wiggled. They loved it and we could not stop laughing. Both Jen (mom) and I found ourselves singing it well into the next day. Such a fun family who clearly plays many games with their girls as they followed suit with each game we played. Happy birthday to these two sweet sisters who are two years and 12 hours apart!
