On the final evening of my annual Des Moines trip, the sun kissed the grasses and lit up the perfect big old tree. Wyatt and Faith went exploring through the grasses looking for bugs, flowers, and other treasures. Wyatt has become a “boys boy” letting his mom know that there are certain things that “boys” do and she just needs to realize that it comes along with having a boy… this includes flapping your arm and making armpit noises… something he managed to show off at the end of our shoot. Although Faith has a sweet “girly girl” side, she also loves to follow Wyatt’s independent lead. It wasn’t long before she forgot about the itchy grass and trudged her way following Wyatt’s path. I am so in love with these two and their goofy sides.
